I am an Associate Professor at University of Hawaii at Mānoa in the Department of Information and Computer Sciences. My research focuses on machine learning and artificial intelligence. My current projects aim to improve computational models in scientific applications using deep learning.

Teaching

I regularly teach machine learning courses. Non-CS students are welcome to audit or take them for credit. I also run an AI seminar that is open to all interested students and faculty.
